Alpha Release & Plans


Hello! SSavage here! Hope all is well with you all.

The first Alpha version of SoA has been release. Let it be known that there is NO PLAYABILITY as of right now. I am still in the testing phase. I'd like to cover all Gui and inner workings prior to a full release so I can focus on just story and additions in future updates. I'll make a list of what I am working on and planning:

Music/SFX: I like music. I like sounds. It truly helps bring the charm in any story/game. While not on the PC I am constantly creating Music and Sounds to add to the game. Constantly revising and ensuring good quality noise for your listening ears. 

- Working Playlist:  The playlist is up and running.. but it looks like crap and doesn't function perfectly on Mobile. I will be fixing this very soon.

Items/Inventory: I have the inventory currently working on my side. Same as the playlist, it looks like crap. I will fixing this soon as well. 

-Items: As of right now I have a rock. The descriptions for items works well alongside the image. This is currently accessible in the inventory screen and looks perfect. 

Currency: I plan on having a few currencies, Bronze coins, Silver coins, Gold coins, Crystal Shards, (and more??). The display for these currencies work fine and look nice. As of right now the conversion from bronze to silver, and silver to gold works great! While Testing I did notice I can't save these currencies! It stays, on load screens and new games. This needs work.

Day/Night Cycle:  I've created all the backgrounds to my code. It's all set and doesnt crash the game but I haven't actually established code to do day and night cycles. Sorry, Not yet.

Shop(s): I haven't even touchs this. It's planned but I need to work on Gui and storyline first. There is a way to buy/sell and can easily be done within code, so when I do want this done; it'll be quick.

Mini-games: I'm a gamer.. this means I'm going to be adding alot of these. The code allows me to. So check out what I plan for this below:

- Triple-Triad (from FF8) inspired game

- Casino games

- Card games

- An extremely simplified platformer or "Flappy-like" game

Money making: Obviously you need to make money.

Battling: *sigh* Listen, it's my dream to create Rpg like games, 8/16 all the way to 8k, I would love it. This is not that type of game. I can add a way to battle, but that's for later. There are more important things like actually making it playable. 

Voice acting for H-scenes: I have a few sounds. But not enough in my eyes. This is planned with partial potential to be started sooner than later.

Story: This will forever and always be worked on. I probably have the first few chapters already in my head and am absolutely ready to drop these ideas as soon as the playability in the game increases.

OVERALL: There is free-Roam, there is Music, there are Jokes, and There are decent 4k backgrounds.

I WILL be improving these all:

I am learning 3D modeling & rendering, Coding, Image creating & editing, along with a few more programs all at once. Trust me when I say the wait will be worth it. I am passionate about this and it won't be long.
